EDMONDS PRIDE MONTH 2026
EVENTS
Pride Movie Extravaganza
Join Edmonds Pride on June 12 for a free screening of Flee, an award-winning animated documentary that tells the story of Amin Nawabi as he grapples with a painful secret he has kept hidden for 20 years, one that threatens to derail the life he has built for himself and his soon to be husband. Recounted mostly through animation to director Jonas Poher Rasmussen, he tells for the first time the story of his extraordinary journey as a child refugee from Afghanistan.
Arrive early when the doors open at 6:30PM to enjoy resources offered by local community groups, including Under the Rainbow Edmonds, PFLAG, and Sno Isle Libraries! While the subject of this film is somber, it is a celebration of perseverance, compassion, and empathy. Registration is required, so reserve your spot using this link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/popcorn-pride-free-movie-night-tickets-1985402774143?
